Can we trust the brain?

So here I am betrayed by my own brain.  Again.

How can something that seems to be “US” be so unreliable and failing? We are some brain operating a skeleton mech covered in meat.

It seems to be perfectly normal phenomenon, albeit with grave consequences, from time to time.

For example – the famous dress. Was it gold & white or black & blue? It went viral and everyone was so sure of the colours they were seeng. I can only see white/gold. The rest saw it correctly – black & blue. What do you see? Can you shift your point of view to see the other colours?

We cannot see the world the same way. Can we hear it the same way? Of course not!Take a look at Yanny vs Laurel – what do you hear? Of some 500,000 people 53% hear “Laurel” while 47% hear “Yanny”And when it comes to emotions – some of us fail miserably and send those who live with us to hell. Never trust your brain and your perception – you might be so wrong and completely blind to the obvious. Fun stuff ^.^ [post cover generated on my command by AI]
